Two volumes with 72 fine hand-coloured aquatints plus a frontis and illustrated title page to volume one. Spines rebacked some time ago and new endpapers put in. Some off-setting to the pages opposite the plates, a few spots of foxing and some age toning. However all plates are bright and clean. Tissue repairs to two short tears on on text pages, not over the text. Bound in full diced calf with gilt border and dentelles. Five raised bands with a blind design to the spines. Part of the newer end paste down to volume 1 has been removed exposing the original marbled end paper. First edition Good Hardcover
