Last i in page viii not aligned. Contains the second of Phiz’s so-called ‘dark plates’ on pg. 482. Date on engraved frontis, half title and six line errata on pg. XV. Plate ‘Somebody turns up’ at pg. 192 and not 182 as called for; ‘screwed instead of ‘screamed’ on line 20 of pg. 132. (only noted in some very early copies) A usual amount of foxing to the plates, particularly the page edges. Foxing and tide marks to the frontis and engraved title page with one small repair
