A scarce piece of Apartheid era propaganda. Published by the State Information Office, this illustrated synopsis of some of the tribes and peoples of South Africa presents a defence for Apartheid’s policy of separate development at every turn. A brief overview of each group is given along with black and white photographs and statistics from the recent census of 1951. It concludes with further mitigation for the policy of separate development and words on the Union government’s efforts to make a better life for all South Africans. Some wear and tear to header and footer. Light foxing to the front and rear. Condition: Good. Binding: Cardwraps with ring binding.
