Each volume contains 2 maps with a frontispiece of John Molteno. Contents are mostly clean with foxing to the prelims and scattered foxing towards the end of the books. Volume I has a dark stain/mark on the paste-downs and the free end page. Maps: Vol I – Map 1 has some light foxing and Map 2 has some light foxing to the verso. Vol II – light foxing on the verso of both maps. Foxing and browning to all edges. Boards have edge-ware, worn with insect damage, sunning and a few stain marks.
