Good accounts of the fauna and flora are gives. As well as the apparent hatred of the British by the Boers. There is also a good account of the natives (Mendelssohn). Edge wear to the blue cloth binding with a neat repair to the head of the spine. Bookplate to the paste down and front fep missing. Some tide marks, mostly to the plates.
