Much of these notes were made by the writer while travelling through various districts in the Cape Colony and then elaborated on from the various agricultural Journals published by the Governments of the South African colonies as well as farmers, many of whom kindly forwarded specimens of plants. Includes notes on poisoning and the treatments which can help.
