Notable travellers discussed are A Beutler, C P Thunberg, Francis Masson, Andrew Sparrman, Hendrik Swellengrebel, William Paterson, Roberg J Gordon, L Degrandpre and finally John Barrow. Some light foxing to front and rear end papers and prelims. The maps at the rear are in very good condition with some foxing to the top edges of the pages.
