The commander of the camp was Colonel Prinsloo who gave a warm farewell to the prisoners on the eve of their repatriation. Thanking them for their artistic spirit, love for work and the strong bond with the agricultural life of South Africa. Includes a number of b&w photographs of the camp, men participating in various crafts and skills, as well as stage productions and sport. Also includes photographs of the cemetery and granite slabs with the names of 254 POWs who had died during imprisonment.
