Bound in maroon quarter cloth over paper covered boards with gilt device to front board and device and titles in gilt to spine, which is rubbed and sunned. Illustrated in b/w and colour with fold out maps. Previous owners’ ink inscriptions to f.f.e.p. Scattered foxing throughout the text and to edges. Top edge dyed. A very good copy despite foxing, binding neat and tight and text clear and crisp.
