Text : French. Translated from English. A portrait of Philippe, II as frontispiece in Volume 1. Each title page has a vignette. Marbled end-papers and red tinted edges. Vol 2 has faint tide-mark on the lower page edges and some foxing to the feps. 1cm worm hole and a circular marking on the front cover. Vol 4 has foxing to fep and traces of small worm holes. Vol 1 and 2 are missing the headers and footers of spine edges with the footer missing from Vol 4. Contents remarkably clean and binding firm.
