From A Brief Biography (Pg 102). Albert Adams was born in Johannesburg. While attending Livingstone High School in Cape Town he was encouraged to study art. He was awarded a scholarship to study at the Slade School of Art in London from 1953 to 1956. In 1957 he attended master classes under Oscar Kokoschka. He returned to Cape Town and exhibited extensively until 1960 when he left Cape Town to settle permanently in London. In 1979 he was appointed to the staff of the City University, London where he lectured in art history for 18 years. He passed away on 31 December 2006. 119 Pages.
