The folding map of Abyssinia opposite pg.137 is hand-coloured. The chart of Annesly Bay to face pg. 453 is missing and replaced with a facsimile (33 x 24cm). All other plates, charts and maps present as called for, and in good condition. Some light scattered foxing. Buff green endpapers. 1st Edition. Condition: Very good. New calf spine and foredges over original marbled boards which are rubbed.
