A hand written poem titled Beauty. Four stanzas and an illustration of a Xhosa woman in watercolour. Signed by I’Ons. The appearingly sincere poem is illustrated by a rather curious looking Xhosa maiden. Squint and gap-toothed. One can only speculate at the artist’s intentions.
