A very large, linen backed lithographed map of the cantral discrict of Cape Town, or the ‘bcity bowl’. Showing Table Bay, the docks, Green Point Common and all city street names at a scale of 500 ft – 1 inch. Nineteenth century plans of Cape Town are very rare, even more so to this scale. Mape sheet size: 128 x 127.5cm. Some foxing and creasing, otherwise vewry good.
