Thin booklet consisting of 4 papers written by Hugh Murray-Huson who was asked to comment on Tom Larson’s work on the Bayeyi which is the largest of the Ngamiland tribes. Two of the papers deal with kinship terms and behaviour and are somewhat technical anthropological/linguistical tracts. The remaining two are recordings of Yei folk tales related by Mrs Mbwe of Gumare. They illustrate social morals and human failings through the use of animal characters given the attributes of humans.
