This edition published by Bassett & Chiswell in 1676. “Although ther are several contemporary references to Elizabethan and early Jacobean maps of Dublin, the earliest surviving large-scale cartographic representation of the city is the inset in John Speed’s map of Leinster dated 1610.” Original colour, English text to the verso. Old repair to the split at the centre fold. Small perforation to the upper right repaired with tape. Wide margins, very good condition.
